The Little Fin knife (1226) from Ka-Bar has a straight back-shaped blade with a slightly narrowed ridge at the top of the blade, imitating the characteristic Bowie shape, beveling the tip of the blade. The blade has a high hollow cut and a plain cutting edge, starting with a slight notch, placed on a small ricasso at the base of the blade. The shiny blade with a mirror finish and hand-made cut is made of stainless steel DIN 1.4166 with a thickness of 2.3 millimeters.
The handle of the Little Fin knife is made of pressed buffalo leather discs. It has a prominent, brass crossguard, preventing the hand from slipping onto the blade, and a solid, aluminum head, combined with a pin inside the handle. To maintain aesthetic consistency, the head has also been finished in a high gloss.
In the set with the knife, we get an elegant, leather sheath, adapted to carry the knife on the belt in a vertical position. The scabbard is decorated with an embossed Ka-Bar brand sign, polished rivets and aesthetic stitching running along the rivets. It is equipped with a loop that holds the handle, fastened with a steel, polished latch, which fits perfectly with the whole.
