History
EOTECH has roots dating back to 1972, when the University of Michigan founded the ERIM Environmental Research Institute in Ann Arbor. ERIM, an incubator for EOTECH, presented prototypes of holographic sights for the US Army back in 1986. EOTECH officially entered the market in 1996, introducing the first HWS sight at the SHOT Show in partnership with Bushnell, and has continued its tradition of innovation and excellence ever since. Over the years, the company has won many prestigious awards, and its products have been chosen by American special forces and the Marine Corps as the preferred sights for close combat.
