The Ka-Bar Tegu Folding Knife (3079) from an American manufacturer is a medium-sized EDC folder, equipped with a Drop point blade made of stainless steel. Extremely durable black G10 epoxy-glass laminate linings provide a secure grip and go well with the gray finish of the blade.
The Tegu knife from Ka-Bar has a Drop Point blade made of 420 stainless steel with a thickness of 2.6 millimeters. The steel is protected with a gray anti-reflective coating. It has a hollow cut, ending with a plain cutting edge starting with a slight notch. The knife blade is extracted from the handle using a large hole at the base of the blade. The knife is equipped with a Liner Lock, which prevents the knife from folding during use.
The ergonomic knife handle, made of steel, is complemented with black G10 epoxy-glass laminate cladding. G10 epoxy is characterized by high resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The linings have a textured surface, thanks to which the knife fits securely in the hand and does not slip even in unfavorable weather conditions. A slight recess under the index finger gives a sense of a stable grip, but is not sufficient to prevent the hand from slipping onto the knife blade. The handle is equipped with a right-hand pocket clip in the tip-down position.
