The Jarosz Wharncliffe knife from Ka-Bar has a Warncliffe-shaped blade made of Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel with a thickness of 3.7 millimeters, finished with stonewash, thanks to which it perfectly masks traces of use. It has a hollow cut with a plain cutting edge. The knife blade is extracted from the handle using a convenient flipper, which, when the knife is opened, serves as a prominent crossguard, protecting against accidental slipping of the hand onto the blade. The knife is equipped with a titanium Frame Lock, which prevents the knife from folding during use. The blade has a corrugation on the spine at the base of the blade, which provides good support for the thumb when cutting precisely and improves the shortened handle of the knife.
The ergonomic knife handle, made of titanium, is complemented by a coyote-colored G10 epoxy-glass laminate cladding. G10 epoxy is characterized by high resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The cladding has a textured surface, thanks to which the knife fits securely in the hand and does not slip even in unfavorable weather conditions. The handle is equipped with a right-hand steel pocket clip with the possibility of re-installation in the tip-up or tip-down position. The handle has a large hole for a wrist safety leash, integrated with the backspacer.
