The Ka-Bar Becker Necker (BK11) knife from an American manufacturer is a low-profile, ultra-light knife with a one-piece Full Tang construction, designed for everyday use. Comes with a low-profile sheath that will allow you to discreetly carry the knife hidden under clothing, around the neck.
The Becker Necker Knife (BK11) from Ka-Bar is made of one piece of carbon steel with an admixture of chrome and vanadium 1095 CRO-VAN, 4 millimeters thick, it has a Drop Point profile blade with a full flat grind and a plain cutting edge starting with a small notch. The knife has been entirely painted black to eliminate light reflections and protect the steel from external factors.
The handle of the knife has a skeletal structure, thanks to which the weight of the knife is significantly reduced, and the whole thing maintains a low profile. An additional advantage of the skeleton construction is the freedom of braiding the handle using paracord. By making the braid yourself, we can decide on the height of the handle profile, its hardness or adhesion, and we can easily transform the knife into a spear or a skewer. Another advantage of the knife handle is its cross-guard shape, which protects the user against uncontrolled slipping of the hand onto the blade. The manufacturer additionally provided the possibility of extending the knife with handle linings made of micarta. The handle has a bottle opener located in the handle head and a hole for a wrist safety lanyard.
The knife comes with a low-profile, polymer sheath with an additional blade lock that can be carried around the neck. The manufacturer also provided in this case the possibility of extending the cover with an additional TDI Metal Belt Clip, which will allow you to install the sheath on the belt.
