Ka-Bar TDI Pocket Strike Knife (2491)

The Ka-Bar TDI Pocket Strike knife (2491), designed by John Benner (founder of the Tactical Defense Institute from Ohio), is a low-profile, medium-sized knife for defensive purposes, equipped with a ring-shaped handle that facilitates the draw. The knife comes with a matching polymer cover, adapted to carry the equipment inside a pocket.

The TDI Pocket Strike knife (2491) from Ka-Bar, designed and signed by the Tactical Defense Institute in Ohio, is a medium-sized so-called last-chance knife that allows you to take active defense in a situation of disarmament or lack of space to draw and use a firearm. The Full Tang knife is made of one piece of AUS 8A stainless steel, 4.1 millimeters thick. The knife blade has a Drop Point shape, has a hollow cut and a plain cutting edge starting with a slight notch. In order to eliminate light reflections and protect the steel against external factors, the blade is covered with a black, matte, ceramic protective coating.

The handle of the Pocket Strike knife is deeply profiled and finished with a finger ring, which significantly improves the ergonomics of the grip and makes it easier to draw the tool. The handle linings are low-profile and textured, thanks to which they provide a significant grip, they are made of glass fiber reinforced nylon - this material is available under the trade name Zytel®. In addition to the finger ring, the handle also has a hole for a wrist safety lanyard.

The knife comes with a stiff and extremely durable, low-profile sheath with a steel clip, made of polymer and designed to carry the knife inside a pocket or on a belt. It is possible to reconfigure the cover for the left hand.
