The Ka-Bar Fighter knife (1271) is a large and massive Hidden Tang military knife with a widened blade with a Clip Point profile. An aggressive blade, secured with a double-sided crossguard, embedded in a black Kraton elastomer handle, finished with a massive steel head.
The Fighter knife (1271) from Ka-Bar has a partially serrated Clip Point blade with a flat cut, made of one piece of high-quality 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel with an admixture of chrome and vanadium, 4.3 millimeters thick. The blade has a small ricasso above the crossguard and a very extensive, false cutting edge on the spine at the top of the blade. In order to eliminate light reflections and protect the steel against external factors, the blade was covered with black epoxy powder paint.
The handle of the 1271 knife is made of Kraton G elastomer (thermoplastic rubber) in black. This material is characterized by high resistance to heat, weather conditions and chemicals, while maintaining flexibility and adhesion. The use of this material significantly improved the grip and stability compared to the legendary original. Handle It has a prominent, double-sided steel guard that prevents your hand from slipping onto the blade, and a solid steel head that can be used as an improvised hammer.
The set with the knife includes a light and extremely durable Kydex sheath (nylon hardened with glass fiber) in black, adapted to conveniently carry the knife on a belt in a vertical position, and thanks to many attachment and anchoring points compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, without any obstacles we will install it in any section of our inventory.
