The Maskpol Single Mag Pouch AK/AR TM-08 - MAPA B, made in Poland by Maskpol, is an open pouch designed to carry a single AR, AK or similar rifle magazine. It is compatible with Molle/Pals modular systems. Pouch in unique MAPA B camouflage.
The Maskpol Single Mag Pouch AK/AR TM-08 - MAPA B is a single-chamber pouch, dedicated to carrying an AK, M4/M16 or similar rifle magazine. The pouch is made entirely of Cordura 560 laminate. Inside the chamber there is a non-slip insert, which is the entire internal rear wall of the pouch, thanks to this solution, the magazine placed in the pouch does not move while overcoming obstacles or traversing the terrain in a dynamic way. The pouch has been additionally equipped with a shock cord, intertwined through the side walls and finished with a puller, thanks to which we can adjust the pressure of the pouch on the loaded magazine depending on the needs.
The pouch mounting system is based on a laser-cut Molle panel with two straps, it is dedicated to installation on Molle / Pals platforms placed on tactical vests and backpacks. We can also successfully install this pocket on the waist. The front wall of the pouch is equipped with a laser-cut Molle panel, on which we can attach any additional equipment compatible with the modular system, or simply another, same rifle pouch.
The MAPA camouflage was created by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, the author of, among others, publication Theory of visual message deconstruction. Military camouflage design tools (Gdańsk 2015). The innovative project, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, drew the attention of specialists and manufacturers of military clothing.
