The first aid kit consists of one large compartment, closed with a two-way YKK® zipper. The construction of the "Clam Shell" allows the first aid kit to be completely opened and easy access to its contents. Inside the chamber, on both walls, there are polyester divider pockets, and elastic bands are sewn on them, creating four organizational grommets on each side, which will allow you to successfully organize all kinds of rescue equipment, ensuring quick access to dressings and maintaining full dynamics pre-medical aid.
The pouch has a handle leveled with Velcro at the top, with which we take out first aid kits. The first-aid kit is fully removable, i.e. we can tear off the entire medical container from the mounting panel, as soon as the first-aid kit is needed, all you need to do is unfasten the safety loop buckle and pull the handle of the medical container so that it breaks away from the velcro. Thanks to this solution, we are able to place the first aid kit in a less accessible place, e.g. on the waist of the vest, without losing the simplicity and efficiency of its removal, while freeing up space for ammunition in the front of the tactical vest. The first aid kit is also equipped with a drainage hole located in the center of the bottom of the chamber, thanks to which we can easily drain the water accumulated inside during the performance of tasks in unfavorable weather conditions. On the front wall of the first aid kit, there is a small, round Velcro identification panel with a medical cross cut out.
The pocket mounting system is based on a laser-cut Molle panel with two straps, it is dedicated to installation on Molle / Pals platforms placed on tactical vests and backpacks. We can also successfully install this pocket on the waist. The mounting panel is equipped with a loop securing the first-aid kit against accidental breaking, this loop is fastened with a fastex buckle.
The MAPA camouflage was created by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, the author of, among others, publication Theory of visual message deconstruction. Military camouflage design tools (Gdańsk 2015). The innovative project, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, drew the attention of specialists and manufacturers of military clothing.
