The Maskpol Tourniquet Pouch TM-10 - MAPA B of Polish production, by Maskpol, is fully compatible with the Molle/Pals modular systems, designed for carrying and quickly draw out the tourniquet. Pocket in unique MAPA B camouflage.
The Maskpol Tourniquet Pouch TM-10 - MAPA B of Polish production, by Maskpol, is a simple, single-chamber open pouch, designed for carrying and quickly draw out the tourniquet.
The construction of the pocket is based on a laser-cut Molle panel and a wide elastic band attached to it, forming the body of the chamber. The extended bottom of the back wall of the pocket, finished with a webbing tape, has been folded towards the front and attached to the elastic body, forming the bottom of the pocket. Thanks to this construction, the equipment installed in the pocket is well held, does not fall out and constantly stays in place. The high flexibility of the body also allows you to carry alternative equipment within the chamber capacity. At the top of the front of the pocket, there is a webbing tape grommet, which allows you to attach additional accessories.
The pouch mounting system is based on a laser-cut Molle panel with one strap, it is dedicated to installation on Molle / Pals platforms placed on tactical vests and backpacks. We can also successfully install this pocket on the waist.
The MAPA camouflage was created by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, the author of, among others, publication Theory of visual message deconstruction. Military camouflage design tools (Gdańsk 2015). The innovative project, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, drew the attention of specialists and manufacturers of military clothing.
MAPA camouflage in the basic forest variant is characterized by:
The use of six colors creating layers resembling contour lines on a map
Selection of colors optimized for activities in the forests of Central Europe
The use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and the effect of anamorphosis
Biomorphic shapes that resemble the pattern of vegetation
Highly contrasting elements imitating light and shadows
Using a macro pattern to deform a camouflaged object
Color noise reproduced with a micropattern
