The Jarosz Beartooth knife from the Ka-Bar company has a Clip Point blade made of 5Cr15 stainless steel with a thickness of 2.5 millimeters. The steel has been protected with a gray anti-reflective coating. It has a hollow cut, finished with a plain cutting edge. The knife blade is extracted from the handle by means of a double-sided thumb pin at the base of the blade. The knife is equipped with a Liner Lock to prevent the knife from folding during operation. The blade has a corrugation on the back at the base of the blade, thanks to which it provides good support for the thumb during precise cutting and improves the shortened knife grip.
The ergonomic handle of the knife, made of steel, has been supplemented with linings made of epoxy-glass laminate G10 in black. Epoxy G10 is characterized by high resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The linings have a textured surface, thanks to which the knife lies securely in the hand and does not slip even in adverse weather conditions. The delicate recess under the index finger is a slight crossguard, protecting the hand from slipping onto the knife blade. The handle is equipped with a steel pocket clip with the possibility of re-installation, both in the tip-up or tip-down position, as well as under the right or left hand.
