The Ka-Bar Skeleton knife (1118BP) from the American manufacturer is an ultra-light, low-profile and one-piece knife with a skeleton handle, modeled on the legendary USMC 1217 knife. The blade in the aggressive Clip Point shape and the very low profile of the entire structure make this knife a great addition to the neck, complementing the EDC equipment.
The Skeleton knife (1118BP) from Ka-Bar is made of a single piece of 5Cr15 stainless steel with a thickness of 3.3 millimeters. The steel used is characterized by very good sharpening parameters and high resistance to corrosion. The blade was entirely covered with a layer of black powder paint to reduce light reflections and provide additional protection against steel corrosion. The knife has a Clip Point blade with a full hollow cut and a plain cutting edge.
The handle with a skeletal structure allows you to keep a low profile of the tool, thanks to which the knife is extremely light and easy to hide under clothing. An additional advantage of this construction is the possibility of self-braiding the handle with a paracord or a thong, thanks to which we have an impact on the profile of the handle, its ergonomics and grip to the hand.
In the set with the knife, we get a hard, polymer sheath with a hole for a chain or paracord, adapted to carry the knife around the neck or in a pocket.
