The Ka-Bar Big Brother knife (2211) is an enlarged version of the legendary USMC 1217 model from the American company Ka-Bar, created in cooperation with S.E.I.G.E. (Strategic Edge Impact Global Enterprise). An enlarged, aggressive blade with two separate cutting edges, secured with a double-sided guard, embedded in a black Kraton elastomer handle, finished with a massive steel head.
The Big Brother knife (2211) from Ka-Bar has a large, massive Clip Point-shaped blade with flat cuts, made of one piece of high-quality carbon steel with an admixture of chrome and vanadium 1095 Cro-Van, 4.3 millimeters thick. The blade has a small ricasso above the crossguard, a long and plain cutting edge on the front of the blade, a false cutting edge on the spine at the top of the blade, and a large serrated cutting edge on the back of the blade. In order to eliminate light reflections and protect the steel against external factors, the blade was covered with black powder paint.
The handle of the 2211 knife is made of Kraton G elastomer (thermoplastic rubber) in black. This material is characterized by high resistance to heat, weather conditions and chemicals, while maintaining flexibility and adhesion. The use of this material significantly improved the grip and stability compared to the legendary original. Handle It has a prominent, double-sided steel guard that prevents your hand from slipping onto the blade, and a solid steel head that can be used as an improvised hammer.
The knife comes with an elegant leather sheath in the color of the handle, designed to carry the knife on a belt in a vertical position. The scabbard is decorated with the embossed Ka-Bar brand logo. It is equipped with a loop holding the handle, fastened with a steel latch.
