The Dozier Folding Hunter knife from Ka-Bar has a Drop Point-shaped blade made of Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel with a thickness of 2.8 millimeters, covered with a black coating to protect against reflections and corrosion. It has a high hollow cut, ending with a plain cutting edge. The knife blade is extracted from the handle using a one-sided thumb pin at the base of the blade, the pin can be reinstalled under the left hand. The knife is equipped with a Lockback, which prevents the knife from folding during operation. The blade has a fold on the spine at the base of the blade, which provides good support for the thumb when cutting precisely and improves the shortened handle of the knife.
The ergonomic handle of the knife, made entirely of zytel - a composite based on glass fiber reinforced nylon, is extremely light and durable. The linings have a textured surface, thanks to which the knife lies securely in the hand and does not slip even in adverse weather conditions.
