Benchmade Bugout CF-Elite is the latest edition of the popular everyday folder, valued for functionality, lightness and convenience of use. Small dimensions and the use of high-quality materials ensure reliability and versatility of knife.
The knife uses a blade with a useful drop-point profile, made of CPM-S30V stainless steel, hardened to 58-60 HRC. The 82 mm long blade has an optimal size and functionality, it is perfect for everyday tasks. CPM-S30V powder steel is characterized by high hardness and resistance to damage, which ensures its optimal sharpness for a long time. The entire blade has been covered with a ceramic DLC coating, which has high abrasion resistance and additionally protects against corrosion and oxidation.
The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand, thanks to the use of a double-sided pin (made of anodized aluminum), thus enabling comfortable operation of the knife for right and left-handed people. The blade lock is of course Axis-lock, the flagship mechanism of the Benchmade brand, valued for its great resistance to loads, insensitivity to dirt and ease of use.
The linings of the knife are made of CF-Elite. It is a nylon polymer that has been reinforced with carbon fiber, thanks to which the knife handle is lighter and stiffer.
Similarly to the blade and other elements of the cladding, they are kept in subdued colors. Gently profiled linings with non-slip texturing ensure a very comfortable and stable grip of the knife.
