Kershaw Brawler Assisted Flipper (1990) is a compact folding knife with a SpeedSafe opening assist mechanism that is ideal choice as an everyday knife (EDC).
The knife has a Tanto Point-shaped blade with a smooth cut, made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, characterized by good cutting properties. The blade is additionally secured with a scratch-resistant, matte, non-reflective, black coating. The blade has a flipper with a SpeedSafe Assisted Opening. It helps you to open any SpeedSafe knife quickly and easily with a manual push on the thumb stud or pull back on the flipper; built into many Kershaw best sellers. The blade itself, when open, is secured with a Liner-Lock. The steel blockade strip ensures an appropriate level of security, and the operation is very intuitive.
Properly shaped handle liners are made of a durable nylon polymer, additionally reinforced with glass fiber, which provides a good grip when operating the knife. There is a metal clip on the handle, with the option of mounting in two positions. At the end of the handle there is also a hole for a safety rope.
