The ESEE Avispa is a mid-size folding knife, designed in collaboration with renowned knifemakers such as Mike Perrin and Jeff Randall. A simple and at the same time extremely functional knife, which is perfect as an everyday knife (EDC).
The knife has a drop point shaped blade made of AUS-8 stainless steel, which has good cutting properties and is easy to sharpen even in the field. The blade has a black protective coating that additionally protects against corrosion and reduces minor scratches.
A double-sided thumb stud is placed on the blade, thanks to which the knife can be opened efficiently with both the right and left hand. The blade itself, when open, is secured with a Frame-Lock. A steel blockade strip, which is also an integral part of the handle, ensures an appropriate level of safety. On the other side of the knife there is a handle liner made of durable nylon polymer, additionally reinforced with glass fiber, which thanks to its texture provides a good grip when operating the knife.
The handle has a metal clip for convenient carrying in a pocket or belt. The clip can be attached in four different configurations. At the end of the handle, there is also a hole for a safety loop.
