Counter Point 2 Lockback is a smaller, budget version of the Cold Steel production folder. The brand is known primarily for the production of various types of military knives. A large part of the American company's offer are large forest tools that are perfect for heavy camp work. However, the Cold Steel range also includes smaller models, the primary use of which is everyday use. Counter Point 2 is one of the EDC folders from the American brand.
Japanese AUS-8A steel was used for the knife blade. It is a stainless material that has been eagerly used for years in budget items from the Cold Steel offer. Users appreciate steel, in addition to its low susceptibility to corrosion, good sharpness and ease of restoration, as well as decent cutting aggression. The handle of the model is made of Griv-Ex® material. It is a durable polymer that is resistant to e.g. to factors such as temperature, humidity or the action of many substances. The polymer guarantees good adhesion.
Although Counter Point 2 is a smaller version of the Counter Tac knives, its appearance is also reminiscent of military combat daggers. A narrow blade with a spear-point profile guarantees the appropriate penetration of the tip. Appropriate grinding results in good cutting characteristics. The shape of the handle has been designed to guarantee the best grip. Deep undercuts give the fingers good support.In addition, the characteristic texture of the Griv-Ex® material further improves the grip, thanks to which you can safely work with the knife with wet hands or with gloves.
A practical pin is used to open the folder. The Tri-Ad Lock system was used to lock the blade. This is one of the locks that deservedly enjoys a good reputation, guaranteeing a high level of security.
