The sight offers 12 brightness levels (10 daylight settings and 2 night vision-compatible modes), making it easy to adapt to varying lighting conditions. Thanks to its size and resilience, it performs exceptionally well in service shooting, dynamic sports shooting, and tactical or defensive applications.
The expanded construction of the Vortex Defender - ST with an aspherical lens coated with Armortek not only delivers a clear, crisp image free of parallax but also provides a larger window for more precise shots in any situation. Additionally, the Shockshield polymer insert absorbs shocks and recoil, protecting the optic under field conditions. As with the CCW model, an integrated motion sensor allows for automatic shutoff after a period of inactivity, extending battery life. The base is built to the DeltaPoint Pro mounting standard, allowing easy compatibility with a wide range of platforms, including service pistols, shotguns, or PCC carbines.
