AKU Selvatica Tactical GTX are low-cut shoes designed for fast movement in total comfort, primarily with uniformed services in mind that operate in urban areas. Super lightweight, waterproof, and breathable, they ensure safe and stable mobility in any dynamic working conditions.

The low-cut upper is based on PU-coated AIR 8000® fabric, which provides both lightness and durability. It’s also the main element of an AKU-designed system ensuring the highest level of breathability in footwear. Thanks to this specially crafted fabric, its breathability level increases over 24 hours and can reach up to 11.5 times greater breathability than conventional fabrics.

Inside the shoe, a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane is used, designed without one insulating layer, primarily dedicated to summer footwear. As a result, the shoe effectively dissipates heat and improves ventilation. This membrane is particularly popular in summer trekking and tactical shoes. It performs best in moderate to warm conditions, during intense activities, both outdoors and indoors.

The sole construction is developed using the unique Elica Natural Stride System technology, which integrates the lower parts of the shoe, insole, midsole, and outsole. Thanks to the integrated design of these components, every pair of AKU shoes follows the anatomical shape of the foot, adapting to the natural slope of the heel and forefoot to absorb impact and reduce strain. The Vibram Selvatica with MegaGrip outsole has been developed specifically for AKU and is based on the Megagrip rubber compound, providing excellent grip and traction even on wet surfaces.

  • Comprehensive protection against moisture and wind in all conditions, thanks to the integrated and versatile GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane.
  • Integrated padded tongue stitched to the upper for better water resistance, limiting water ingress from the top of the shoe.
  • Reinforced heel and toe with an additional rubber rand.
  • Fast lacing system using elastic laces secured with a cord lock.
  • Custom-made Vibram Selvatica outsole featuring a MegaGrip tread pattern.
