AKU Pilgrim GTX Combat Boots Wide Brown (560CF.L-050) are versatile tactical footwear with a high upper, offering stability, lightness and full protection for the foot thanks to well-thought-out solutions and properly selected materials. And when combined with the right socks, they provide a high level of comfort when operating in harsh field conditions.

The use of modern technologies ensures comfort in use. The anatomical design of the shoe fits tightly to the foot, providing stability and support when walking on uneven terrain. The high upper is made on the basis of natural leather, which gives the whole structure durability and protects the shoe in sensitive areas from abrasion. The second material is Air8000 Fabric & Bycast Rand, which are located in the middle part of the upper and are responsible for the efficient removal of excess moisture and heat from inside the shoe.

The boot's lining uses a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane, which is mainly used in trekking boots and offers moderate insulation (100 gsm fleece) ideal for a wide range of temperatures. It features durable waterproofing and optimal breathability, providing moisture protection and comfort, so it will perform well in variable weather conditions.

The midsole is made of EVA foam, made with AKU IMS 1 technology, which facilitates shock absorption during walking and running, as well as prevents foot slippage and evenly distributes pressure. The outer part of the sole is an EN ISO 20345-compliant anti-static, heat- and oil-resistant VIBRAM Foura sole, made of a specially selected nitrile rubber compound. The front and back part of the shoe is equipped with additional reinforcements, making it even more durable and providing additional protection for the heel and toes.

The shoe's two-zone lacing system consists of leather loops at the bottom and metal open grommets at the top of the upper, in which durable laces are interwoven. This design allows for a better fit and stabilization of the ankle joint, but also for convenient removal and putting on the shoe.

The high quality, reliability and comfort of the Pilgrim GTX Combat boots is best evidenced by the fact that in the version with a medium-height upper they are successfully used by the British armed forces.

  • Durable hybrid upper made using grain leather and nylon materials.
  • Lower part made of durable grain leather with a thickness of 1.8 mm, which meets the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 337-2 standard for tensile strength in excess of 120 N.
  • The middle part of the upper is made of Air8000 Fabric & Bycast Rand nylon materials, which allow excess moisture and heat to be effectively dissipated from inside the shoe.
  • Comprehensive protection from moisture and wind in all conditions thanks to the integrated and versatile GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane.
  • The integrated padded tongue is stitched to the upper to provide full waterproofing and reduce water entry through the upper of the boot.
  • Reinforced heel and toe with a resin-dipped polyester insole to meet the Satra TM 83 2009 shape retention standard for safety and foot protection.
  • EVA foam midsole, made with AKU IMS 1 technology, which facilitates shock absorption during walking and running, as well as prevents foot slippage and evenly distributes pressure.
  • Made from a specially selected nitrile rubber compound, the VIBRAM Foura sole is anti-static, heat and oil resistant, according to EN ISO 20345 / 20344.
  • Double stitching is used in sensitive areas, to strengthen the structure and improve durability.
