Tasmanian Tiger Raid Combat Pack Mk. III is a backpack for longer field activities, which will also work well when camping in the forest or long hiking routes. 50l capacity guarantees room for a large amount of equipment. Made of IRR treated Cordura.
TT Raid Pack Mk. III is a classic military backpack manufactured by Tasmanian Tiger. The brand has remained one of the most important producers of tactical equipment for almost half a century. The wide range of products includes various types of vests, pouches, pouches, etc. The German company is also constantly expanding its offer of backpacks dedicated to various applications.
The Raid Pack Mk.III model is a product that could be described as a multi-day backpack, which is perfect for camping in the forest or long hiking routes. The high capacity, over fifty liters, guarantees space for a very large amount of equipment. Numerous options for attaching items or installing additional pouches increase its practicality, making Raid Pack Mk. III is an almost irreplaceable "forest companion". Thanks to its classic, military design and the brand's typical durability, the backpack will certainly appeal to bushcraft and survival enthusiasts. A number of innovative solutions also make it a great model for conducting tactical operations.
The backpack is made of the material that the Tasmanian Tiger brand is famous for - 700 Den Cordura. The fabric was first introduced to the European market by a German manufacturer. It is characterized by incredible strength and durability. This makes it perfect for making all kinds of tactical equipment that must be reliable even in the most difficult conditions. It is worth emphasizing that Cordura 700d. used by the manufacturer, is still made in Europe, which translates into rigorous quality control. The backpack can be successfully worn with tourist clothing, various camouflage patterns and equipment in various colors.
Product made of 700 Den Cordura, IRR treated, and IRR treated Acetal.
CORDURA® 700 DEN. Composition: 100% polyamide.
CORDURA® with a fiber thickness of 700 den is a combination of high wear and tear resistance of the classic 1000 den fabric with the lightness of a fabric with a fiber thickness of 500 den. The material complies with Bundeswehr TL 8305-0278 standards and is characterized by long-term stability and high abrasion and tear resistance.
ACETAL. Composition: 100% acetal
Acetal is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer material. Acetal is characterized by excellent tensile strength, stiffness, surface hardness and chemical resistance. Acetal is characterized by excellent bending memory and retaining properties under repeated loads. The normal temperature range for short-term use is -40°F to +270°F (-40°C to +132°C). Acetal is recommended for high-performance applications, and Tasmanian Tiger uses this material for backpack buckles. The physical properties remain unchanged over a wide range of temperatures, relative humidity and weather conditions.
IRR-treated materials meet the high standards of the German Bundeswehr TL 8305-0281 in terms of the IRR camouflage effect (IRR 650 - 1250nm / 10 - 42%).
The main compartment of the Raid Pack Mk. III is a very large, forty-eight liter space, divided into two smaller parts. Thanks to this, we can easily separate dirty clothes from the rest of the equipment without using additional pouches or organizers. However, the compartment with a zipper can be unfastened very quickly, providing full access to the large pocket. Access to the main compartment is possible from two sides. The top, adjustable flap allows for convenient packing of all equipment. The lower one works great, among others: for carrying the sleeping bag. The entire lower compartment has been designed to accommodate systems such as Carinthia Defense 4, consisting of a sleeping bag and a bivy bag.
In addition to the large main compartment of the TT Raid Pack Mk. III is equipped with two, smaller side pockets. Zippered compartments with a capacity of two liters each are perfect for carrying the most necessary accessories to which we want to have constant access. We can also use them to store more delicate items so as not to expose them to unnecessary damage in the main compartment of the backpack. There are open, flexible compartments under the pockets. They, in turn, can perfectly accommodate, for example, a small bottle of water. It is also possible to carry any long items whose shape makes it difficult to fit them in the main compartment, e.g. tent poles, axes, etc. In addition to the three basic pockets, the backpack also has smaller pockets. One of them is placed in the flap of the backpack and is perfect for various small accessories and trinkets.
Most of the surface of the TT Raid Pack Mk. III is covered with MOLLE straps. This allows you to significantly expand the basic version of the backpack by adding various pouches, pouches and additional pockets. The backpack is, of course, compatible with numerous Tasmanian Tiger products, but we can actually use any products with MOLLE mounting. In addition to the classic use of tape, we can also use it to temporarily strap various elements, e.g. a sleeping pad or small items such as a cup or chemical light. There is also a large Velcro panel on the product. With its help, we can easily mark our backpack by placing, among others, all necessary markings, or the so-called morale patches. The backpack is equipped with several practical compression straps. With their help, we can easily reduce its volume when we do not use the entire internal space.
The back of the product is made using the V2 Plus carrying system. It ensures an optimal, ergonomic shape, tailored to the figure. The carrying system guarantees adequate cushioning and ventilation, which translates into comfort, especially when worn for long periods of time. The V2 Plus carrying system was designed to carry loads of up to forty (!) kilograms. A wide, soft hip belt can be removed and used as an independent element (so-called warrior belt), e.g. for carrying tactical equipment. After detaching it, the backpack can also be conveniently used with any tactical vests, plate carriers, etc. The model's harnesses are adjustable to a large extent, and thanks to the shock absorption and well-thought-out, wide design, they effectively prevent abrasions, etc.
TT Raid Pack Mk. III is a backpack characterized by extraordinary universality of applications. The model will certainly appeal to all lovers of outdoor activities. The great durability of the product is an invaluable feature, e.g. in bushcraft or survival, where we will also appreciate the large capacity of the backpack. Thanks to compatibility with the MOLLE system, as well as a number of solutions such as a detachable hip belt, the backpack will also work well in tactical operations. Tasmanian Tiger has almost half a century of experience in creating the highest quality tactical equipment. So if you are looking for a universal backpack that will not let you down even in the most difficult conditions, you will certainly be interested in the TT Raid Pack Mk. III.
