Medic Assault Pack L MK2 is the largest Medic Assault backpack first aid kit from Tasmanian Tiger. It has an integrated scissors case, retractable shoulder straps and a well thought out interior with a number of pockets and modular organizers, allowing for clear organization of medical aid. Made of IRR treated Cordura and equipped with laser cut MOLLE platforms.

The Medic Assault Pack L MK2 backpack first aid kit from Tasmanian Tiger has a single-chamber backpack design, complemented by a number of organizational solutions to improve tactical operations aimed at medical and premedical assistance. Designed to easily transform from a backpack into a bag carried in the hand between casualties, it also allows you to wear it on a tactical vest. The backpack has several completely detachable pockets designed for interior arrangement, which, thanks to the included, double-sided Velcro adapters, allow them to be used as pockets attached via both loops and Velcro hooks on any selected Hook-and-Loop surface. The backpack comes with a Hi-Viz signal flag, which, when attached to the kit, allows you to remain visible in the friendly fire hazard zone. The Medic Assault Pack L MK2 version of the first aid kit is deceptively similar to the Medic Assault Pack MK2 model, with a slight difference in capacity thanks to the increased depth of the backpack, corresponding to one additional MOLLE column in the side wall sector (4 cm). This seemingly small change, giving only 4 liters of additional capacity, allows for the free storage of a complete resuscitation equipment, which the smaller model did not provide.

NOTE: The equipment and medical supplies shown in the photos are intended to demonstrate the capabilities of the first aid kit and are not included with the backpack.

Tasmanian Tiger, as a manufacturer of professional military equipment, premium police equipment and reliable emergency medical equipment carriers, uses only the highest quality materials to make its products, both to meet the needs of even the most demanding customers and to provide equipment that will serve without failure for years of use. Many materials with specialist applications were used to produce the Medic Assault Pack L MK2 backpack first aid kit, and the largest components in its production are Cordura® and Nylon 420 and vinyl. Specifying the use of the aforementioned materials, the famous Cordura® 700 den was used to make the outer shell of the backpack and the body of the modular pockets (excluding the version shielded by infrared suppression - IRR, in this version 500D weight was used), while Nylon 420 HD was used to develop the interior (the bottom of the backpack is reinforced with a laminate of Nylon 420D with a TPU coating). Vinyl was used to construct the outer walls of the modular pockets, allowing full insight into their interiors without having to open them, thanks to the full transparency of this material. Cordura® 700D is a fabric typical of Tasmanian Tiger brand products. The manufacturer was the first in Europe to start using it to produce tactical equipment, appreciating its incredible strength and durability. All zippers used in the model are durable products of the renowned YKK® brand, and acetal elements, characterized by extraordinary resistance to wear, are products supplied by the Woojin plastic® brand.
CORDURA® 500 Den IRR treated. Composition 100% polyamide.
Classic CORDURA® made of air-textured 500 Denier nylon 6.6 with high tensile strength parameters. The material compliant with TL 8305-0278 is characterized by long-term stability, high resistance to abrasion and tearing. CORDURA® fabrics are appreciated worldwide and regardless of the application, CORDURA® fabric offers an excellent strength to weight ratio, making it the first choice for durable fabrics.
The IRR-treated material meets the high standards of the German Bundeswehr TL 8305-0281 for the IRR camouflage effect (IRR 650 - 1250nm / 10 - 42%).
NYLON 420 Den HD. Composition: 100% polyamide.
The classic 420 den nylon material has proven itself in the "high density" (HD) version as a good, very flexible base material. The 420 den yarn gives it very high tear resistance. The material is waterproof thanks to the triple PU coating. In the version with a TPU coating, it allows processing with open edges, thanks to the properties of the coating.
ACETAL. Composition: 100% acetal.
Acetal is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer material. Acetal has excellent tensile strength, stiffness, surface hardness and chemical resistance. Acetal has excellent flexural memory and retention of properties under repeated loading. Normal short-term temperature range is -40°F to +270°F (-40°C to +132°C). Acetal is recommended for heavy-duty applications and Tasmanian Tiger uses this material for its backpack buckles. Physical properties remain consistent over a wide range of temperatures, relative humidity and weather conditions.
VINYL. Composition: 100% polychloride.
This is a soft plastic and is used as a clear film for vision pockets.
HEAVY MESH. Composition: 100% polyester.
A heavyweight woven mesh of polyester, used with a polypropylene or polyurethane filler for additional cushioning, and has a high air circulation coefficient. Material used as a lining for shoulder straps and carrying systems in backpacks, for the production of storage bags and integrated mesh pockets.
NYLON TAPE. Composition: 100% polyamide.
Nylon tape with a very dense, special fiber weave, creating a fabric with high stability with a high coefficient of resistance to abrasion and tearing. Widely used for the production of shoulder straps, harnesses, belts and all kinds of reinforcements on fabric surfaces exposed to high loads.
SPANDEX TAPE. Composition: 74% polypropylene, 21% elastane, 5% polyester.
Elastic woven tape with a significant admixture of elastane, generating optimal elasticity of fibers while maintaining high compression.
Both CORDURA® and Nylon materials, fixed and elastic tapes, Velcro fasteners and buckles meet the high standards of the German Bundeswehr TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281 regarding the IRR camouflage effect (IRR 650 – 1250nm / 10 – 42%).

The front of the backpack in the "L" version differs from its predecessor only in the enlarged Velcro panels, allowing for personalization of the first aid kit. Both the upper panel, located in the line of the scissors case, and the lower panel, similar to the line of the bottom of the first aid kit, have been widened to the entire width of the front. There is also a pocket on the front closed with a zipper with a diagonal zipper line. This pocket reaches all the way to the bottom of the backpack, and inside it there is a handle to transform the first aid kit into a bag, allowing you to carry the fully open backpack between injured people (this significantly improves the process of providing first aid when we do not have the possibility of transporting the injured and have to oscillate between them). The pocket has an additional Velcro fastening in the line of the zipper, thanks to which after transforming the first aid kit into a bag, we can still secure the equipment carried inside. Below the aforementioned pocket, there is a laser-cut MOLLE platform with 6 anchor columns with 7 webbing per column (8 slots). Below the lower Velcro ID line, there is a large drainage hole, allowing for the free evacuation of liquid from the interior of the previously discussed pocket.

Each of the side walls of the first aid kit has two laser-cut MOLLE platforms. The upper mounting platforms have 2 columns with 5 webbing (6 slots), while the lower ones contain 3 webbing (4 slots) in 2 columns. The use of such a large and extensive number of MOLLE mounting columns on the outer areas of the first aid kit allows for the free expansion of the backpack with additional pockets and containers, as well as for anchoring equipment that exceeds the capacity of the medical carrier. The top of the backpack has a standard handle for carrying in the hand, simplifying loading/unloading the first aid kit from the luggage space of means of transport. The bottom of the first aid kit, unlike its smaller predecessors, has two laminated nylon straps, integrated symmetrically with the bottom of the backpack on the outer edges of the laminate. Each of the mentioned straps has laser-cut slots in the MOLLE standard located only at the edge of the front and back of the backpack, thanks to which we can afford to attach additional equipment to the bottom of the backpack without worrying about the anchor points breaking off, and at the same time install equipment with significantly non-standard dimensions (a rescue blanket, a roll-up polyethylene rescue stretcher, a canvas stretcher or even an oxygen cylinder).

The rear wall of the first aid kit body has a small, shallow pocket at the top, closed with a zipper, in which a second handle is hidden to transform the backpack into a medical bag for moving between injured people (both handles, front and back, are integrated with the backpack body inside the pockets from which they are extracted). Below the aforementioned pocket are the attachment points for the backpack straps. The backpack carrying system is completely removable, the straps are attached to the backpack body via wide, fixed loops with acetal regulators (model: Smoothy Lock, patented by the Woojin Plastic® brand). The straps at the bottom are attached to straps integrated with the body, equipped with adjustable male connectors and non-adjustable female connectors on each of the straps (model: Champion Buckle). The connectors located at the end of the straps have additional protection in the form of an elastic buckle clamp. The backpack first aid kit straps are ergonomic, covered with a mesh-structured polyester fabric with additional shock-absorbing foam filling. They also have a one-sided adjustable chest strap (removable), fastened with a small acetal buckle (model: Champion Buckle) and attached to the straps using straps that cover the straps and are woven into acetal adjusters (model: Smoothy Lock). Each strap has one acetal D-ring (model: Smoothy Hydee) and 3 transverse webbing eyelets, allowing for routing cables or anchoring additional equipment. Below the upper attachment point of the straps, there is a wide and Velcro-fastened inlet to the strap pocket (if you do not dismantle them completely, you can reattach them and pass them through the pocket), the bottom of this pocket has an outlet secured with a zipper, thanks to which we can install in this pocket, in addition to the straps, also rescue equipment exceeding the dimensions of the entire first aid kit. This pocket is ideal for a cervical spine brace, and thanks to the additional Velcro strap in the lower zipper line, it allows for the attachment of a harness supporting the splints installed inside to stabilize limb fractures. The first aid kit also has two permanent hip belt attachment points in the form of acetal grommets (model: Smoothy Loop) and a hip belt made of 25 mm nylon webbing, attached with regulators (model: Smoothy Lock) and fastened with a double-sided adjustable quick release buckle made of acetal (model: Dual Adjustable Champion).

The interior of the backpack first aid kit, devoid of attached pockets and a cord organizer, has a very simple structure. Both on the back wall and on the inside of the front flap, there are three wide, vertical strips of soft fleece (soft Velcro - loops), allowing for independent arrangement of the interior depending on the purpose of the kit (tourism, tactical operations, medical rescue) and individual preferences. The only feature in the construction of the body of the kit that distinguishes it from the smaller model are loops of elastic tape (spandex) placed on the inside surface of the side walls. On each side we get 6 rows of symmetrically located tape with two anchor points each. On the side of the opening front, at the top, similarly to smaller versions of backpack first aid kits from this series, there are two flat pockets made of mesh material (inlet 8.5 cm, depth 12 cm), placed one on top of the other, and two elastic tapes the width of these pockets, on their outer surface. Inside the front wall, there is a pocket closed with a vertically positioned zipper, right at the side edge. Inside this pocket, there are 3 large horizontal eyelets, allowing for carrying larger rescue elements (large bandages, dripsters, bottles of saline for injection).

The Medic Assault Pack L MK2 backpack first aid kit comes with 3 identical, large organisation pockets, one smaller pocket and a rope organiser, attached inside the backpack using Velcro (Hook-and-Loop). The smallest pocket measuring 26cm x 12cm x 8cm (width x height x depth) does not have an internal organiser and is attached with a single Velcro strip on the back wall. The fronts of all pockets are made of transparent vinyl, which allows for a quick look at their interior without having to open them. Each pocket has the same double-zip opening, and the depth of the zipper allows for the front flaps of each pocket to be completely lowered. Below the large viewing windows, there are narrow Velcro strips that allow the use of the included coloured tapes with the possibility of writing (blue, red, 2x white - e.g.: respiratory tract, bleeding, route of administration of medication, circulation). The larger pockets have the following dimensions: 26cm x 18cm x 8cm (width x height x depth), have permanently integrated internal organizers and are fastened with two Velcro strips on the back wall. The interior is arranged in two rows of horizontal elastic bands (spandex), divided into 6 eyelets of equal width each. On the left side of each of the tapes placed inside, another run of tape is sewn (on top) with a pass-through surrounding 3 eyelets, which in total constitutes 14 individual anchor points for each pocket. The set also includes the previously mentioned cord organizer, which is smaller than the one used in smaller first aid kits from this series, namely it does not contain an additional organizer made of elastic bands under the cord sector. It has dimensions of 23.5 cm x 20 cm, is on a flat, polymer-reinforced base and is fastened to the backpack with 3 rows of tapes on the back wall. The stiffened base has holes in the corners, allowing for the installation of paracord handles, which make it easier to tear the organizer off the mounting panel. On the organizational surface, it has 3 rows of perforated (6 holes) nylon with a TPU coating through which 3 double-running bungee cords are threaded, terminated with clamps to adjust the compression force. In the space between one of the pairs of nylon tabs, there is a narrow webbing tape, shaped into grommets and also used to organize the preferred interlacing of bungee cords.

The backpack first aid kit also includes two straps, fastened with acetal buckles with two-sided adjustment (model: Dual Adjustable Champion). These straps are not permanently integrated with the buckles, but only have an integration system based on two regulators (model: Smoothy Lock) on each of the straps. An addition so simple and at the same time versatile and universal, allows them to be used as a system for securing additional equipment on the outside of the first aid kit, as well as a system for integrating the first aid kit with any space (plate carriers, vehicles, etc.)

If you are looking for the perfect backpack first aid kit with universal use and at the same time optimal capacity while maintaining small size, be sure to check out the Medic Assault Pack L MK2 from the Tasmanian Tiger brand. Well-thought-out solutions, full individuality in interior organization, numerous modular solutions and immediate access to the most necessary elements of rescue equipment, all in extremely precise workmanship and using the highest quality materials available on the market, this is the offer from Tasmanian Tiger.

Please note: The equipment and medical supplies shown in the photos are intended to demonstrate the capabilities of the first aid kit and are not included with the backpack.
