The vest consists of shoulder straps integrated with a shoulder pad, a front belly panel extended with a dangler mounting zone, a waist belt stabilizing the vest and a cargo/admin pocket fastened with MOLLE/PALS straps. The harness is fully adjustable and connects to the panel at four points with Duraflex buckles. The entire outer surface of the paddle pad is covered with laser-cut slots compatible with the MOLLE system, while on the inside a spacer foam is used, covered with a material with a mesh structure, ensuring adequate air circulation and comfort in use. The front panel of the vest consists of a spacious laser-cut MOLLE platform and a pocket placed under it with a webbing guide for four parallel rifle magazines installed with Velcro. This guide can be completely removed. Each of the four chambers of the aforementioned format has a bungee protection made of an elastic shockcord slipped over the top of the inserted magazine, protecting it against uncontrolled removal. Each of the protections has a special stitching that facilitates operation in gloves. The lower part of the presented panel has been extended by two rows of MOLLE slots, enabling us to install a dangler or any cargo pocket based on this modular system. On both sides of the extension, there are paracord loops for attaching additional equipment, such as gloves, hearing protectors, a hole marker dispenser or a chemical light. The inner side of the vest, like the shoulder pad, also has foam covered with a mesh material for better air circulation and optimal thermal performance. The stabilizing belt of the vest is a webbing tape 25 mm wide and one meter long, it is adjustable on both sides and fastened to the lower part of the front with Duraflex buckles. Both the belt and suspenders have special loops fastened with Velcro at each end, used to eliminate the excess of each of the straps, after adjusting the chest rig in relation to the figure.
The cargo/admin pocket attached to the vest, from the front side is covered with a MOLLE/PALS platform made of laser-cut Cordura laminate enriched with a layer of soft Velcro, which allows any personalization with the use of identification patches. The pocket is closed with a two-way zip and is clam shell construction, allowing the pocket to be fully opened for easy access to supplies. On both sides of the pocket there are grommets with an elastic, adjustable shockcord wound through them, thanks to which we can freely adjust the level of the pocket opening. Inside the pocket on the back wall there is a compartment for documents and an elastic band sewn on it, creating an organizer for smaller items and writing instruments. The opposite wall of the inside of the pocket is covered with velor, intended for the installation of organizational inserts with mounting based on hard Velcro. The pocket is equipped with such an insert, which is a stiffened MOLLE mounting platform in the size of four columns with five rows of slots. The pocket mounting system is based on a laser-cut MOLLE panel with two straps. This pocket can also be successfully installed on the belt as an independent product.
The MAPA camouflage was created by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, the author of, among others, publication Theory of visual message deconstruction. Military camouflage design tools (Gdańsk 2015). The innovative project, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, drew the attention of specialists and manufacturers of military clothing.
