Schrade Bolo Machete (SCHBOLO) from an American manufacturer is a solidly made machete with a slightly curved, massive stainless steel blade, equipped with a functional nylon sheath, stiffened with a special kydex blade cover, additionally equipped with ferrocerium flint and a diamond plate sharpener.
The Bolo Machete (SCHBOLO) from Schrade is armed with a 35-centimeter 3Cr13MoV stainless steel blade with a thickness of 3.9 mm, coated with titanium nitride for better protection against corrosion and external factors.
The handle linings are made of a uniform Safe-T-Grip® rubber, ensuring non-slip properties and ensuring a secure grip even in adverse weather conditions. The handle has a crossguard at the base of the blade, it has additional, non-slip textures at the base of each crossguard, protecting against accidental slipping of the hand onto the blade. The handle has a prominent head, which significantly facilitates work with an elongated grip and protects the user from slipping out of the machete during grubbing. The head has a hole for a wrist lanyard.
In the set with the machete, we get a functional sheath with an additionally equipped pocket on the front. The scabbard is made of ballistic nylon in black, it has an additional, rigid kydex blade cover. On the front of the sheath, there is a pocket closed with velcro, equipped with ferrocerium flint and a very efficient, diamond sharpener in the form of a plate. The scabbard is equipped with a loop for fastening the machete handle and a comfortable belt for carrying equipment slung over the shoulder.
