Gerber Gator Machete (31-000758) is an attempt to create a real multi-tool for typical forest activities. The product combines the functionality of a large blade with a wood saw. Combined with the use of modern materials, this idea translates into an interesting proposition for all outdoor enthusiasts.
The machete blade is made of stainless steel. Thanks to this, the tool will be perfect even in high humidity conditions, without requiring additional care or maintenance. The handle of the Gerber Gator model is characteristic of the GatorGrip® brand products. The grip is made of a modern, thermoplastic elastomer with a texture reminiscent of alligator skin. This technology provides a very high grip, which is important especially when using a tool such as a machete.
The shape of the tool refers to the typical, large machetes, which work well, for example, in equatorial forests. The flat scandi grind ensures very high cutting edge strength.
