Hatchet (SCAXE10) from Schrade, has a Full Tang construction, the hatchet head and the shaft are made of one piece of 3Cr13 stainless steel, the entire surface of the tool, excluding the cut, is covered with a thick layer of powder varnish, thanks to which it has a rough, strongly perceptible, matt surface, which, in addition to protecting the tool against external factors and corrosion, gives a firm and stable grip of the head when we want to sharpen the hatchet. The head, on the opposite side of the blade, is blunt, allowing the ax to be used as a hammer.
The hatchet has an ergonomic handle made of thermoplastic rubber with a textured, non-slip surface, ensuring a stable and secure grip regardless of weather conditions. The handle is finished with a hole with a rewound safety leash for the wrist, protecting the user from dropping or slipping the ax.
The hatchet comes complete with a thermoformed, polypropylene head cover, fastened with a steel latch and attached to a belt with a maximum width of 48 millimeters.
