The CARINTHIA G 280 sleeping bag has a G-LOFT® filling of 280 grams per square meter. The comfort limit of this G-LOFT® sleeping bag is -11°C, therefore the G 280 is classified as 3-season-sleeping-bag. Due to its low comfort temperature limit, the sleeping bag is ideal for the central European climate zone.

No matter if its taken on a trekking tour, to Bivouac or on sailing tour way up north, the G 280 is the right piece of professional equipment that keeps it’s promise. The outer layer is water repellent and made out of Rip-Stop, this ensures a heavy-duty use when needed.

Features:

  • Differential Cut - The optimal method of constructing insulation in layers. The outer layer is cut bigger in order to properly cover the larger space over the inner layer (whether it is G-LOFT & CQ-Down™).
  • Zipper Draught Tube - An insulated tube/flap covering the zip, which prevents cold air and drafts from entering and reduces condensation.
  • Combinable - Thanks to the choice between left and right entry, it is possible to zip your Carinthia sleeping bags together (for a more intimate experience). Besides the comfort factor, this feature also provides safety: A body constantly creates warmth. By combining the sleeping bags you can survive colder conditions in extreme situations.
  • Anti-Snag Tape - A textile band to prevent snagging of the zipper.
  • 2-Way-Zipper - The 2-Way-Zipper enables micro-climatemanagement. By adjusting the zipper according to climatic requirements, you can reach an optimal ventilation of your sleeping system.
  • Zipper Baffle - Filled with insulation material, interior zipper cover to avoid cold spots along the zipper.
  • Thermoflect - Thermoflect increases the heat retention of a sleeping bag by around 11 %. Thermoflect is our solution against heat loss due to body radiation. Thermoflect is an ultra-light, ultra-soft, breathable scrim with the unique ability to reflect body-heat.
  • Double Layer Construction - Two G-LOFT® insulation layers are arranged in such a way that the quilting is offset to avoid cold bridges. The shell is attached afterwards, creating a further layer of air between the quilted insulation and the shell. With no stitch perforations in the shell, it is relatively water and airtight.
  • Neck Baffle - Insulated tube that prevents heat loss from around your shoulders and neck.
  • Anatomically pre-shaped foot section - Elaborate 3-dimensional construction of the foot section. It envelops the feet so that the tips of the toes do not press the lining onto the outer shell to prevent cold bridges occurring.
  • Water-repellent Shelltex outer material
  • Soft & very light Shelltex Ultra lining (high breathability)
  • Width-adjustable thermal draught collar filled with G-LOFT®
