The Trooper Mk2 is a lightweight outdoor jacket with a more practical cut and a better-fitting size range. It doesn’t restrict movement thanks to the slightly elastic main fabric, and when folded, it takes up very little space in your gear.
It also works well as a tactical jacket, as evidenced by the Velcro panels on the shoulders and its focus on functionality. The well-known and valued features of the Trooper and Blizzard jackets return in modern form as the Trooper Mk2. A new, more comfortable, looser cut means the Trooper Mk2 is great as an outer softshell, and on colder days you can wear something warmer underneath, such as the Wolfhound Hoodie. The main material is a lightweight nylon blend with elastane, making the jacket comfortable and allowing free movement.
This jacket is a lightweight outer layer that effectively protects against wind and moisture. A carefully designed hood, hidden in the collar and featuring a shaped brim, contributes to this protection. The extended cut shields your lower back from the wind. The well-thought-out design and well-positioned pockets let you conveniently carry everyday gear without interfering with suspenders or a backpack’s hip belt—something hikers will certainly appreciate. On the outside, there are two chest-height pockets with organizers, two on the shoulders, and one inside. Taking into account its intended use, weight, and quick-drying properties, the jacket does without the kidney pocket (the so-called poacher’s pocket) and the small forearm pocket.
