Helikon Trooper MK2 Softshell Jacket - Earth Brown

Helikon Trooper MK2 Jacket is a new and improved version of the highly regarded Trooper softshell jacket, designed to provide protection against wind and light rain. The Trooper Mk2 is a lightweight outdoor jacket with a more practical cut and better-fitting sizing. It doesn't hinder movement thanks to the slightly stretchy main fabric, and when compressed it takes up very little space in your pack.

It will prove itself as a tactical jacket, and its military pedigree is evidenced by Velcro ID panels on the shoulders and a focus on functionality. The well-known and appreciated solutions of Trooper and Blizzard jackets return in a modern edition as Trooper Mk2. A new, more comfortable cut with looser fit makes the Trooper Mk2 great as a top softshell jacket, and on colder days you can wear something warmer underneath, such as the Wolfhound Hoodie jacket. The main material used is StormStretch®, a lightweight nylon with a touch of elastane, which makes the jacket comfortable and unrestrictive.

The jacket provides a lightweight outer layer of clothing that effectively protects against wind and moisture. Contributing to this is the clever design of the retractable hood in the collar with a contoured visor. The extended cut protects the kidneys from the wind. The well-thought-out cut and well-planned pockets allow you to carry handy gear comfortably and do not interfere with the suspenders or hip belt of the backpack, which hikers will surely appreciate. There are two pockets at chest height with organizers, two on the shoulders and one internal pocket. Keeping in mind the purpose, weight and speed of drying, the pocket at kidney height (the so-called poaching pocket) and a small pocket on the forearm were abandoned.
