Tasmanian Tiger Modular Combat Pack 24 SL is an improved version of the tactical backpack from the Modular Combat series. It provides a load capacity of up to 24 liters, making it perfect for the so-called 1-day pack for one-day activities or field trips. Equipped with an advanced "Y2" carrying system that provides a wide range of adjustments and allows you to wear the backpack with a tactical vest on.

Modular Combat Pack 24 SL from the German company Tasmanian Tiger is a backpack designed for tactical operations, which is also perfect for outdoor activities. In a typical urban environment, it can also function as an extremely useful EDC backpack. The possibility of attaching elements both outside and inside the backpack, and expanding it with various pockets, pouches and organizers will allow you to increase the functionality and adapt the backpack to changing purpose conditions of use.

To make this improved model, light and durable 500 DEN Cordura and stronger 700 DEN Cordura polyamide fabric were used, for which the Tasmanian Tiger brand is famous on the global tactical equipment market. A fabric with a lower grammage constitutes the body of the backpack along with the pockets and more delicate elements of the carrying system, while 700D Cordura, in order to strengthen and increase the durability of the product, was used in the bottom of the backpack and in the laminated elements of the carrying system, absorbing the greatest overloads (peak adjustable harness integration system with the body and adjustable peak elements of each harness). All zippers used in the model are durable products from the renowned YKK® brand, and the acetal elements, characterized by extraordinary wear resistance, are products provided by the Woojin plastic® brand.
CORDURA® 500 DEN. Composition: 100% polyamide.
Classic CORDURA® made of air-textured 500 Denier nylon 6.6 with high tensile strength. This material is characterized by long-term stability and high abrasion and tear resistance. CORDURA® fabrics are respected around the world and regardless of application, CORDURA® fabric offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making it the first choice for durable fabrics.
CORDURA® 700 DEN. Composition: 100% polyamide.
CORDURA® with a fiber thickness of 700 den is a combination of high wear and tear resistance of the classic 1000 den fabric with the lightness of a fabric with a fiber thickness of 500 den. This material is characterized by long-term stability and high abrasion and tear resistance.
ACETAL. Composition: 100% acetal.
Acetal is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer material. Acetal is characterized by excellent tensile strength, stiffness, surface hardness and chemical resistance. Acetal is characterized by excellent bending memory and retaining properties under repeated loads. The normal temperature range for short-term use is -40°F to +270°F (-40°C to +132°C). Acetal is recommended for high-performance applications, and Tasmanian Tiger uses this material for backpack buckles. The physical properties remain unchanged over a wide range of temperatures, relative humidity and weather conditions.

The backpack, despite its relatively small external dimensions, is exceptionally capacious, its single main compartment has a capacity of 19 liters, and three pockets integrated on the front, located one below the other, provide an additional 1 liter in the middle pocket and 2 liters in the adjacent pockets. In the model, we can conveniently open the entire front wall, gaining convenient access to the carried equipment via a two-way zipper from the already mentioned YKK® brand. Similarly to the previous version of the Tasmanian Tiger Modular Combat 22 Pack, in the presented backpack almost the entire rear interior surface is covered with a large Velcro panel with a laser-cut MOLLE panel. Thanks to this, it is possible to use modular solutions in as many as two assembly systems, both MOLLE/PALS and Hook-and-Loop. The panel has a structure of two separate Velcro MOLLE templates with dimensions of 2 columns with 9 rows of tapes (10 slots), separated by one column containing only soft Velcro (loops). To organize the main compartment, one of the TT pocket sets will be perfect, e.g.: Medic Pouch Set VL (no. 7566) or Mesh Pouch Set VL (no. 7222), and when the backpack is an element of combat equipment, TT organizers will be perfect. , e.g.: Modular WPN Fixation Set VL (no.:7357). At the top of the rear inner wall, there is also a pocket closed with a Velcro flap, inside which there is a polymer insert stiffening the body, additionally containing an aluminum rod shaping the curvature of the back. The outer surface of the mentioned flap also contains a soft Velcro allowing the integration of additional equipment. In the central point of the top there are two loops (a fixed one made of a rope and an adjustable one made of a Velcro tape), allowing for the installation of a hydration system. Just above the loops there is a hole for the irrigation system tube. The interior of the main compartment also contains two small mesh pockets with elastic trim on each side wall, which can be used to organize smaller items and various accessories. The detachable front is also equipped with a flat A5-sized pocket at the top in a horizontal orientation, secured with a zipper, which will allow you to safely carry documents along with your wallet (which we usually do not want to carry in external pockets).

The laser-cut MOLLE system is also used on the outside of the product. Both the fronts of the external pockets and the sides of the model allow the installation of additional accessory pockets or various types of pouches. The installation panels located on the side walls of the backpack body are divided into two parts on each side. The upper side panel is 2 columns wide with 6 rows of MOLLE straps (7 slots), and the lower side panel is 5 rows of straps (6 slots) with the same number of columns. The panels on the front pockets have the same dimensions for each pocket: 4 installation columns with 3 rows of MOLLE straps (4 slots). The upper pocket has a small Velcro identification panel on the top of the outer wall, above the mentioned MOLLE panel, thanks to which we can freely personalize the backpack with patches or add unit emblems, name tags, or the so-called morale patches. Daisy-type straps have been integrated along the side edges of each pocket, allowing for anchoring additional equipment on the outer space of the backpack, as well as making an independent braid with a bungee cord, allowing for any configuration of the structure of the carrying baskets on the front of the backpack. The upper and middle pockets have 5 anchoring positions on each of the Daisy straps, the lower pocket has 6 anchoring positions. The backpack comes with three pieces of bungee cords with clamps, two approximately 45 cm long and one approximately 126 cm long. On the left side of the bottom of the backpack, there is a nylon sheet with holes for a bungee cord, allowing you to make a suspension for additional equipment, such as an ice ax.

Each of the pockets on the front of the backpack opens very deeply using a double YKK® zipper, and their internal structure is as follows, starting from the upper one:
The first pocket has an administrative structure, it contains two slotted pockets with a rigid hem on the inner wall. On the left pocket there is an additional pocket fastened with Velcro for small accessories. There is a strip of soft Velcro directly under the slot pockets, allowing you to install the organizer using the Hook-and-Loop method. There are also two large D rings on the top corners of the back wall (model: Smoothy Hydee), allowing you to attach additional equipment (flashlight, knife or simply a keychain). On the outer wall there is a large mesh pocket (the size of the entire pocket) closed with a zipper.
The middle pocket has a very simple structure, inside it there are three horizontal strings of Daisy tape with 7 anchor points (one in the middle, two on the edges), allowing for independent configuration of a flexible cable organizer, intended for anchoring rescue equipment or small and light equipment. .
The last pocket on the backpack is a pocket for larger pieces of equipment, such as ammunition magazines, a large multi-purpose knife, a container with a tourniquet or even a large first aid kit. There are 4 strings of Daisy tapes in a vertical orientation on the inner wall, the two middle ones have 6 anchor points, the outer ones have 4 anchor points on the edges. Additionally, there are two horizontal strips of soft Velcro on the inner wall, allowing for the installation of containers, pouches or tear-off first aid kits. There is a large pocket on the flap of the pocket (the entire flap area) closed with a zipper. This pocket is made of honeycomb fabric with a high transparency factor, thanks to which we have a full view of the items inside without having to open the pocket.

The backpack is equipped with several extremely practical 25 mm compression straps with a variable compression point. Compression straps (two on each side) are integrated with the rear edge of the body via fastex quick-connect buckles (model: Champion Buckle) with one-sided adjustment on the male side of the connector. On the other side of the compression straps there are snap hooks (model: Double Gate Keeper) made of acetal, equipped with an easy-to-use closure that allows you to choose the compression used by attaching them to the selected anchor point. There are two attachment points for each compression strap, one in front of the zipper line on the side wall, the other behind the zipper line on the front flap. Thanks to this solution, we can easily reduce the volume of the backpack when we do not use the entire internal space, we can also limit the opening range of the backpack, turning it into a top-loading one, thus additionally strengthening the durability of the entire structure in the event of a large load.

The perfectly developed Y2 carrying system provides a very flexible range of possibilities for adjusting the back length by changing the suspension height of the carrying system and is suitable for both short and very tall people. This type of adjustment guarantees that each user will adjust the backpack for optimal load distribution and ergonomic fit. The rear wall of the body is ergonomically padded with shock-absorbing foam (covered with a ventilated mesh) and contains the previously mentioned aluminum profile with a polymer wall inside. This supplement can be removed and reconfigured by changing the curvature of the profile, so that it adapts even better to the individual curvature of the back and guarantees perfect distribution of the transferred load. Ergonomically, the Y2 system shoulder straps are also filled with shock-absorbing foam and covered with a highly breathable mesh, and additionally have double adjustment at the top of the shoulder straps and at the top of the backpack body in the form of additional straps with acetal regulators with a very high wedging parameter (model: High Release Curved Lock ). The two-stage adjustment allows you to adjust the backpack to be worn simultaneously with an equipped tactical vest. The harness is equipped with a one-sided adjustable chest strap, fastened with a 20mm quick release buckle (model: Champion Buckle), integrated with the harness with adjusters (model: Smoothy Lock, patented by the Woojin Plastic brand). Additionally, there is a large D ring on each shoulder strap (model: Smoothy Hydee). Each harness is fastened with a 25 mm fastex quick-release buckle (model: Champion Buckle) with an additional cover made of elastic compression tape. The carrying system, for better stabilization under heavier loads, has a hip belt with additional padded fins with external pockets for small items. The hip belt is fastened with a wide 38 mm buckle (model: Dual Adjustable Champion) with quick release properties. The hip belt has a large range of adjustments on both sides and is additionally supplemented with two elastic loops that allow you to organize the excess strap after the final adjustment. The hip belt has an important advantage that cannot be mentioned, namely, the belt fins are integrated with the backpack body via internal, double-sided Velcro, thanks to which we can dismantle it in order to replace it with another model with the same integration system, e.g.: TT MOLLE Hip Belt (No:7286). At the top of the carrying system there is a durable handle made of sewn tape, allowing for comfortable carrying in the hand and making it easier to place the backpack in the luggage compartment of the means of transport.
