The Tasmanian Tiger Sentinel 35 WP WaterProof backpack is a 35-liter backpack designed for reconnaissance in wet areas. Made of Cordura with a water resistance of up to 10 000 mm, equipped with a roll closure, taped seams and daisy tapes on the front. Thanks to laser-cut MOLLE platforms on the side walls, we can expand the backpack with additional pockets.

Sentinel 35 WP WaterProof from Tasmanian Tiger, has the structure of a single-chamber bag with a capacity of 35 liters with access from the top, has a roll-up closure with a stiffened inlet secured with 25 mm hermaphroditic buckles by Woojin Plastic (model: Dual Herma Champ), fastened on the side sectors of the backpack, where there are straps with identical connectors, anchored with steel adjusters on the MOLLE side panels. Thanks to the use of hermaphroditic buckles, we also have the ability to close the backpack at its top. Sentinel 35 WP also has an adjustable strap securing the closure, running from the top of the carrying system, ending with an aluminum hook integrated on the front of the backpack. The use of an additional securing strap, in addition to guaranteeing good closure, allows for attaching additional equipment to the top (outerwear, sleeping pad, blanket, etc.). The presented backpack is IP64 certified, proving dustproof and protected against splashes of water from all sides, and thanks to the use of taped seams and CORDURA® 500 DEN polyamide fabric with an internal DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, it achieves water resistance of 10,000 mm of water column, protecting against even the most sensitive electronic equipment against moisture.

This backpack is characterized by a minimalist and elegant design, while maintaining full functionality. it has two horizontal rows of adjustable compression straps, finished with acetal buckles (model: Dual Adjustable Champion) by Woojin plastic®, allowing both to reduce the volume of the backpack and to attach additional equipment to its external surface. Both compression straps are attached to the side sectors of the backpack (right at the edge of the back wall) using steel adjusters. An additional advantage proving the wide functionality of this backpack are two MOLLE panels made using laser cutting technology, placed on the side walls (between the strings of compression straps), allowing for any expansion of the bag with additional pockets or pouch, which increasing its capacity or anchoring the equipment we want to be in constant reach. There are two vertical strings of Daisy-type straps on the front wall of the backpack (along the side edges of the front) with eight anchoring positions each. Thanks to this solution, in addition to anchoring additional equipment on the outer space of the backpack, we can also make an independent braid with a bungee cord, creating any carrying basket structure on the front of the backpack (the bungee cord is not included with the backpack).

The backpack is based on the Tasmanian Tiger carrying system: Padded Back-System. It consists of an ergonomically shaped polypropylene (PP) foam with ventilation zones, placed in a special pocket made of air-permeable mesh, integrated at the bottom with a wide Velcro panel, thanks to which the insert can be removed and cleaned of any dirt resulting from use (accumulated sweat) or brought from a marshy environment (for which the backpack is intended). Another element of the system are ergonomic, foam-padded shoulder straps, adjustable at the top in the form of additional narrow straps with acetal adjusters (model: Standard Release Curved Lock 20mm) from the Woojin plastic® brand. The harness is equipped with an adjustable chest strap, fastened with a 20 mm quick release buckle (model: Dual Adjustable Champion), integrated with the harness with adjusters (model: Smoothy Lock, patented by the Woojin Plastic brand). Each harness is adjusted using a 25mm Woojin plastic® adjuster with a very high wedging parameter (model: High Release Curved Lock). Additionally, on each harness there is a laser-cut MOLLE mounting panel with dimensions of 1 column and 5 rows of slots with a large D ring through the first slot (model: Smoothy Hydee from Woojin Plastic), integrated with the harnesses under the MOLLE panel, thanks to which we can hide it under the panel (when we need 4 rows of MOLLE straps to install equipment). The carrying system, for better stabilization under higher loads, has a hip belt made of 25 mm polyamide webbing fastened with a Dual Adjustable Champion buckle with quick release properties. The hip belt has a wide range of adjustments on both sides and is additionally supplemented with two elastic loops that allow you to organize the excess strap after the final adjustment. At the top of the carrying system there is a durable handle made of sewn tape, allowing for comfortable carrying in the hand and making it easier to place the backpack in the luggage compartment of the means of transport.

The product is made of durable CORDURA® 500 DEN polyamide fabric and supplemented with Acetal elements.
CORDURA® 500 DEN. Composition: 100% polyamide.
Classic CORDURA® made of air-textured 500 Denier nylon 6.6 with high tensile strength. This material is characterized by long-term stability and high abrasion and tear resistance. CORDURA® fabrics are respected around the world and regardless of application, CORDURA® fabric offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making it the first choice for durable fabrics.
ACETAL. Composition: 100% acetal.
Acetal is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer material. Acetal is characterized by excellent tensile strength, stiffness, surface hardness and chemical resistance. Acetal is characterized by excellent bending memory and retaining properties under repeated loads. The normal temperature range for short-term use is -40°F to +270°F (-40°C to +132°C). Acetal is recommended for high-performance applications, and Tasmanian Tiger uses this material for backpack buckles. The physical properties remain unchanged over a wide range of temperatures, relative humidity and weather conditions.
