TacVec Weapon Fixation MKII is a specialized system for mounting heavier weapons on MOLLE carriers, dedicated to equipping uniformed services vehicles. The set is equipped with a holder for the weapon's stock, stiffened with aluminum profiles, and a paired weapon mounting system with a double system of clamps - manual with Velcro and quick with quick-release buckles, connected with one handle.
The Tasmanian Tiger TacVec Weapon Fixation MKII mounting kit consists of a set of two handles for the firearm body and a carrying basket for supporting the stock of heavier weapons. The carrying basket is made of 420D nylon laminate with a TPU coating, shaped on aluminum profiles and based on a MOLLE installation panel consisting of two adjacent nylon straps. The mentioned profiles are stabilized in the basket by Velcro wings covering them, which are an integral part of the supporting basket, thanks to which the complete removal of the profiles is not an obstacle, and their reinstallation is simple and quick.
Each of the attached weapon body holders is mounted on adjacent straps compatible with MOLLE/PALS modular systems and has a textured nylon surface on the back (in the place of contact with the weapon), ensuring increased grip and stability of the installed weapon. The handles contain two separate weapon integration systems, based on pairs of nylon straps. The first pair of clamps is integrated in a classic way using Velcro and requires manual operation of each clamp, while the second pair of clamps is equipped with quick release buckles, joined together by a common handle, allowing the rifle to be immediately detached from the mounting point. The Velcro strap holders and the quick release buckle holder are in a contrasting rescue red color, which facilitates orientation in stressful and dynamic situations.
