The Tasmanian Tiger Head Rest IFAK is a personal first aid kit with a quick, removable insert on both sides, allowing for perfect organization of rescue resources, intended for installation on the headrests of car seats. Made of 700 Den Cordura, ensuring lightness and durability.

The first aid kit consists of a sleeve with a removable insert for organizing rescue resources, the above-mentioned insert in the form of a Velcro-fastened folder with numerous equipment anchor points, and a Velcro-based mounting system (hook-and-loop), which will certainly not negatively affect the comfort of the headrest. The product is one of the elements of the TacVec Tasmanian Tiger series, dedicated to equipping civilian and multi-purpose vehicles.

On the front wall of the assembly sleeve, there is a large area of soft fleece (soft Velcro), secured with a patch of hard Velcro with a white medical cross and the abbreviation IFAK printed on it. This space can be successfully used to personalize the first aid kit with patches. Below the mentioned space there are three columns of elastic tape integrated with the sleeve symmetrically, creating two rows of grommets in three columns. In the lower part of the mounting sleeve, on the panel adjacent to the headrest, there are two shockcord loops on each side (fixed and adjustable with a drawstring) allowing the installation of additional equipment that exceeds the size of the removable first aid kit insert, for example: an intubation set, an intubation spoon, or a ventilation tube or a small set of splints or orthopedic supports.

The removable insert of the first aid kit, equipped with red handles on both sides, is foldable and closed using a Velcro tab, and also has steel eyelets on the corners, allowing the installation of paracord handles, which can facilitate the opening of the folder and speed up obtaining the necessary pre-medical equipment (the first aid kit is not equipped with in pre-medical aid), additionally, it has an administrative pocket on the front wall with a vinyl viewer, allowing you to place personal medical information, such as allergies and chronic diseases, or personal guidelines for providing first aid, or even first aid training materials. Inside the foldable insert there are two large open pockets, opening inwards. On the outer space of both pockets there are three columns of elastic tape, creating grommets in a 2-4-2 arrangement; the use of different sizes of grommets will allow you to easily configure the contents to your individual needs.

The first aid kit assembly system, integrated with the back wall of the sleeve, is based on a horizontal elastic band connected via Velcro (hook-and-loop) and a similarly fastened vertical clamp made of a flexible and pleasant-to-touch material that will certainly not detract from the comfort of the headrest. The material covering the headrest vertically is adapted to headrests with a circumference ranging from 53 to 63 centimeters, which will allow for comfortable and stable installation in any vehicle model (the first aid kit also includes a 14-centimeter adapter, equipped with Velcro, allowing the first aid kit to be installed on larger headrests). The rear wall of the first aid kit mounting panel has two strips of flexible, textured nylon, generating optimal friction between the contact area between the first aid kit and the headrest, so we can be sure that it will remain in place, regardless of driving dynamics or the force of pulling the first aid kit.

CORDURA® with a fiber thickness of 700 den is a combination of high wear and tear resistance of the classic 1000 den fabric with the lightness of a fabric with a fiber thickness of 500 den. This material is characterized by long-term stability and high abrasion and tear resistance.
