Tasmanian Tiger Tac Pouch 18 Anfibia is a lightweight equipment pouch designed for tactical operations on water and wetlands. Tac Pouch 18 Anfibia from Tasmanian Tiger is a single-chamber, vertically oriented pouch with a shallow opening via a double YKK® zipper and an adjustable silent closing loop with a handle. Container made of 420D Nylon coated with TPU, flexible T-Stretch fabric and durable polyester mesh. It is equipped with bilateral side compression, based on bungee cords adjustable with a clamp (removable) and a wide Velcro identification panel on the front. The interior of the container is equipped with a loop panel (back wall) allowing the integration of additional equipment via Velcro and two mounting loops (fixed and adjustable with Velcro) intended for anchoring equipment or installing a hydration system, for which the pocket is also equipped with a slot for a hydration tube. . The bottom of the chamber is made of a mesh-like material, which allows for free drainage of liquids and impurities that infiltrate the interior during activities in water and wet areas. The frontal, laser-cut MOLLE/PALS mounting panel has a skeleton structure, which allows it to be used both externally to expand equipment and internally to organize transported equipment.
The presented Tac Pouch 18 Anfibia container is one of the elements of the ANFIBIA series, introduced by the Tasmanian Tiger brand in the 2023 season and intended for tactical operations conducted on water, in wetlands and in salty sea water. Thanks to the use of TPU-coated materials such as NYLON 420 DEN, light and flexible T-Stretch fabric and 150D polyester mesh, the ANFIBIA series has reduced water absorption and is resistant to the negative effects of salty sea water. In the case of the presented tank, the measurement of water absorption showed a weight increase of 81 grams, which is an increase in weight of only 30% of the initial weight (test carried out by completely immersing and soaking the tank with the following 20-second automatic drainage of the accumulated liquid before the measurement).
T-STRETCH. Composition: 100% polyester.
T-Stretch is a very light and strong material, resistant to wear and tear, while maintaining high fiber elasticity.
TPU NYLON 420 DEN. Composition: 100% polyamide
Extremely tear - and abrasion - resistant polyamide material which, thanks to the coating properties, can be processed with open edges.
POLYESTER MESH 150 DEN. Composition: 100% polyester
Polyester mesh material, used to produce storage bags and integrated mesh pockets
The pocket attachment system is based on four laminated nylon straps divided into two platforms (one below the other) compatible with MOLLE/PALS systems, thanks to which we can successfully install it on any MOLLE/PALS platform of our tactical backpack, vest or harness. The pocket requires the width of four MOLLE columns for installation.
