The knife has a wide Spear Point blade made of high-quality AUS10-A stainless steel, which provides adequate resistance to mechanical damage, maintains its sharpness well, and is easy to re-sharpen. The blade has been made with a high flat cut, which ensures excellent cutting properties.
The blade is equipped with thumb stud make the knife really pop - making it as easy on the eye as it is to use. The blade itself is secured with a Tri-Ad Lock when it is open. The lock works in a similar way as the standard Back Lock, with the difference that the blade does not come in direct contact with the lock, but with a special pin, which is designed to absorb all stresses. Therefore, the Tri-Ad Lock is much more durable and fulfills its task even with considerable overloads. While it does not matter so much in smaller knives, Cold Steel successfully uses this solution in larger knives to ensure a high level of protection during knife operation.
Properly shaped handle lininers are made of very light and durable G10 polymer, which ensures a good grip when operating a knife. Convenient carrying is ensured by a resilient, steel clip that allows you to easily attach the knife to a belt or to the edge of a pocket.
