The device is equipped with a Solar Failsafe system, whose photovoltaic cell allows the device to be powered even when the battery is completely depleted. When there is enough light, the cell supports the battery, limiting its discharge. Solar Failsafe is also responsible for the automatic brightness adjustment mode of the aiming point.
