The large size and extreme cutting performance of the Spyderco Resilience make it a popular choice among military personnel and other tactical end users. Since many of them operate in environments where light discipline is a concern, we created an all-black version of the Resilience Lightweight.
The knife has a Drop Point-shaped blade made of high quality 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. As a result, the knife keeps sharpness very well, and also is easy to sharpen, even in field conditions. The blade also has a characteristic Spyder Hole, which, in addition to its aesthetic value, allows the knife to be easily opened with one hand. On opening, the blade is secured with a Back Lock with a Boye Dent cutout to prevent accidental release.
The handles are made of light and durable nylon FRN polymer, which thanks to the two-way texture provides a good grip when operating the knife. The handle has a metal clip for convenient carrying in a pocket or belt. The clip can be attached in four different configurations. At the end of the handle, there is also a hole for a safety rope.
