The Cold Steel Marauder Bowie (39LSWBA) is a large fixed blade knife that is modeled after the American World War II military knife. However, due to its size and cutting properties, it will be used mainly as a survival or camping knife.
The knife has a very durable full tang construction, based on a thick blade, almost 5 mm in the Bowie shape. Cold Steel Marauder Bowie is made of high-quality AUS-8A steel, which not only keeps sharpness well, but is also resistant to mechanical damage and can easily be sharpened again, even in field conditions.
The handle is made of a rubber-like and very durable Kray-Ex material, which absorbs some shocks, provides a comfortable and secure grip, even with wet or dirty hands. At the end of the handle there is a hole for attaching a rope loop, which will provide additional protection against accidental slipping of the hand on the blade during work. The set also includes a high-quality sheath made of Secure-Ex polymer, which can be attached to the belt with a belt loop or attached to the TekLok buckle.
