Designed for ultimate protection, the WX IGNITE meets the ANSI Z87.1 safety standards for optical quality and high mass/high velocity impacts. The lenses have a sleek angled shape adding a ton of attitude to these already rough and tough glasses. When you need to dominate the outdoors, the WX IGNITE has got you covered.

Lens
The Smoke Grey lens provides maximum glare reduction. Won’t distort colors and the function is excellent in bright and glare conditions. They’re made from polycarbonate with a special scratch resistance feature, and provide 100% UV protection. Removeable Facial Cavity™ Seal Protects Eyes from Fine Dust, Pollen, Irritants as well as Peripheral Light. Smoke Grey Lens Provides Max Glare Reduction with No Color Distortion: Light Transmission 15%.

Inspired by the shadowy realms of covert operators, Wiley X Black Ops collection was created for elitelevel military personnel, law enforcement personnel, and hard-core shooters. Black Ops sunglasses fuses stealth design with the High Velocity Protection you’ve come to expect from Wiley X eyewear.

Significant for the sunglasses from the Black Ops collection is the frame color in matte black, smoke grey lens as well as the significant black WX logo on the temples. Some of the styles are also available with the patented Facial Cavity™ Seals.

The wraparound frame design provides protection from reflected light and a comfortable, secure fit ideal for a wide range of activities. These versatile glasses are designed to look cool and provide advanced eye protection in environments ranging from city streets to the great outdoors.

Meets standards:

  • (US) MIL-PRF-32432 Ballistic and MCEP (Military Combat Eye Protection)- Frame and lens must withstand a 3,8 mm projectiles fired at 700-720 km/h (spectacle). Goggles must withstand 5,56 mm projectiles fired at a rate of 594-612 km/h. This ensures our lenses and frames are practically indestructible. 
  • ANSI HVP - Frame and lens must withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm steel ball fired at 164,6 km/h. The lens must remain in the frame and is not to shatter. The frame must remain intact as well.
  • EN.166 - Frame and lens must withstand the impact of a 6 mm steel ball weighing 0,86 gram fired at 162 km/h. The lens must remain in the frame and is not to shatter. The frame must remain intact as well.
