Wiley X Detection are sports safety glasses, developed in close cooperation with World Cup shooters, Olympic medal winners and professional hunters. Wiley X Detection combines the best features of the eyewear used in sports shooting ranges and hunting.
The extremely lightweight construction of the Wiley X Detection glasses is based on two temples, which are directly attached to the viewfinder. Thanks to the rubber material finish of the temples, the glasses' slippage from the face during the smoke movement on the shooting track is limited. In addition, a specially designed nose piece adapts to the facial features to a fairly large extent.
Wiley X Detection equipped with properly profiled and interchangeable Selenit polymer lens, with excellent optical quality and meeting ANSI and EN166 protection standards. Anti-fog coating prevents misting on the lens in high humidity and temperature differences. The lens additionally has a certified Hard Coating on the inside, which reduces scratches and significantly extends the life of the lens.
The whole set is packed in a lightweight, stiffened case, which makes it easier to transport in a backpack or bag.
Meets standards:
- ANSI HVP - Frame and lens must withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm steel ball fired at 164,6 km/h. The lens must remain in the frame and is not to shatter. The frame must remain intact as well.
- EN.166 - Frame and lens must withstand the impact of a 6 mm steel ball weighing 0,86 gram fired at 162 km/h. The lens must remain in the frame and is not to shatter. The frame must remain intact as well.
