Druid 260 is a fixed knife production of the American company Steel Will. The knife was created as a medium-sized, universal tool for all outdoor activities. Combining classic, bushcraft design with the use of modern high-quality materials, the manufacturer has obtained an excellent forest knife.
The Druid 260 model is made of 9Cr18MoV steel. It is a very good quality material characterized by a very low susceptibility to corrosion (9Cr18MoV is classified as stainless steel) combined with high abrasion resistance and good cutting aggression. A durable thermoplastic polymer is used for the handle. In combination with an interesting surface texture, it translates into a very secure grip, even in difficult conditions (e.g. when cutting with sweaty hands or wearing gloves).
At the very first moment, the knife resembles classic bushcraft constructions. Undoubtedly, these kinds of tools were an important inspiration for designers. Thanks to this, Druid 260 is not a nice, though impractical knife, but a full-fledged forest tool that will meet even the most demanding tasks. The classic Drop Point blade translates into high versatility, and the high cut ensures great cutting parameters. The large and almost four-millimeter blade will certainly also cope with heavier activities, such as baring. The spine of the blade has a prominent edge, so we can easily use the Druid 260 model also for striking fire with a flint. The knife does not have any kind of notches, thanks to which the blade has no potential weak points and guarantees high durability.
The handle, apart from convenient texturing, is shaped for maximum ergonomics. The widening of both its ends provide a secure support for the hand, and the hole for the rope allows for the use of additional belaying. The knife is sold complete with a scabbard made of durable black leather. The belt loop is attached to the D-ring, which ensures mobility. Thanks to this, the knife does not interfere, for example, when kneeling, sitting or doing some camp work.
Druid 260 by Steel Will is a full-fledged forest tool that will be perfect for many outdoor activities.
