Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Pro (31-001901) is a modernized version of a survival knife, created thanks to cooperation with the famous popularizer of survival techniques - Bear Grylls.
The knife has a 5 mm thick drop-point blade made of 9Cr19MoV stainless steel. As a result, the knife maintains the working sharpness for longer, is easy to sharpen in field conditions and better withstands mechanical impact. The smooth blade has a semi-concave cut because part of the blade is flat and the other part has a typical concave cut. Such a design of the blade combines durability with very good cutting parameters. On the top of the blade there is a small cutter for striking the fire. After modernizing the knife, its construction is a classic full tang, which ensures its high durability when working in the field.
The rubberized handle is mounted on a full tang, has non-slip texturing, thanks to which the knife "sticks to the hand" perfectly. Additional advantages of the handle are the notch for the index finger, preventing the hand from slipping when operating a knife, a serrated thumb rest on the upper part and a hole in the rear part of the grip, in which a rope with a rescue whistle is mounted.
