Ontario Utilitac JPT-2S Folding Drop Point Satin Serrated Knife (8777)

The Utilitac JPT-2S is a compact folding knife manufactured by the Ontario Knife Company. The Utilitac knife series was designed by the famous knifemaker Joe Pardue. By assumption, these are simple, fairly budget constructions, which thanks to their small dimensions will be perfect as a typical EDC knife.

The material used in the production of Utitlitac is 440a steel. It is characterized by high corrosion resistance, while maintaining very good abrasion resistance. Knives made of 440a keep sharpness for a relatively long time and are almost "maintenance-free" when it comes to maintenance, etc., thanks to which they will be perfect for, for example, sails or kayaking. The handle of the knife is made of zytel, i.e. fiberglass-reinforced nylon. This material provides very high strength and good grip.
