The knife has a very durable construction, based on a 2,5 mm thick, Bowie shaped blade. The model is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which provides good cutting properties and is very easy to sharpen, even in the field.

The handle is made of a rubber-like and very durable Griv-Ex material, which absorbs some shocks, provides a comfortable and secure grip, even with wet or dirty hands. The set also includes a high-quality sheath made of Secure-Ex polymer.
