The Smoke Grey lens provides maximum glare reduction. Won’t distort colors and the function is excellent in bright and glare conditions.
Shatterproof Selenite™ Polycarbonate Lenses that Meet the MIL-PRF-32432(GL) Ballistic Standards. ANSI Z87.1-2010 High Velocity and Mass Impact Standards, and EN 166 S. 100 Percent UVA/UVB Protection with Distortion Free Clarity. T-Shell™ lens coating resists scratching in extreme environments. Double Injected Temples and Nose Bridge for Secure Fit. Smoke Grey Lens Provides Max Glare Reduction with No Color Distortion: Light Transmission 15%.

Polarized Lens

Thanks to Wiley X’s Filter 8™ polarized lens technology, the Wiley X polarized lenses will reduce glare off water and other light colored surfaces like no other polarized lens. The technology consists of 8 layers.

The Wiley X polarized lenses is better at filtering the light, which ensures unequal clarity and contrast. It is innovative technologies like these that make Wiley X the obvious choice during all water activities.

Meets standards:

  • (US) MIL-PRF-32432 Ballistic and MCEP (Military Combat Eye Protection)- Frame and lens must withstand a 3,8 mm projectiles fired at 700-720 km/h (spectacle). Goggles must withstand 5,56 mm projectiles fired at a rate of 594-612 km/h. This ensures our lenses and frames are practically indestructible. 
  • ANSI HVP - Frame and lens must withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm steel ball fired at 164,6 km/h. The lens must remain in the frame and is not to shatter. The frame must remain intact as well.
  • EN.166 - Frame and lens must withstand the impact of a 22 mm steel ball weighing 43 grams dropped from 1,3 meters at a speed of 18 km/h. The lens must remain in the frame and is not to shatter. The frame must remain intact as well.
