Helikon – producent odzieży militarnej i turystycznej, firma obecna na rynku od 1983 r. Oferta firmy Helikon jest bardzo szeroka, zaczynając od klasyków takich jak kurtki i spodnie m65 poprzez  rożnego rodzaju spodnie bojówki i bluzy takie jak SFU, TCU, ACU oraz  BDU. Helikon-Tex is a Polish company in the military industry, producing a wide range of tactical and outdoor equipment. The history of this brand started in 1983. Initially, Helikon's business profile was entirely different from the current one. In the eighties, it was a company engaged in selling surplus military equipment. It wasn't until over ten years later that the company's owner, Grzegorz Mieszczak, decided to create new lines of military and tactical products adapted to the realities of the modern battlefield. The reason for such actions was the recognition of the completely unfit level of then-applied solutions to the needs of a modern army. Therefore, the late nineties marked the start of a new stage of development for Helikon as a producer of its own clothing and tactical equipment models.

The crucial date for the company's development was 1999. At that time, the company's authorities decided to build their own research and development department, based on the knowledge and experience of professionals in their field. Since then, Helikon-Tex has been consistently implementing its mission by reaching professionals from uniformed services, the army, special units on the one hand, and offering good quality equipment to hobbyists seeking inexpensive and good quality solutions for tourism, survival, etc., on the other.

Since then, the history of the Polish company is a constant development, from one of many companies in the military industry, to an undisputed market leader, not only in Poland but also in the world. Over the last twenty years, Helikon has produced many products that are now considered iconic. In 2004, the company introduced the SFU (Special Forces Uniform), which has since become one of the most popular models in the world (the pants have already sold over half a million copies). The model has now been improved to the SFU Next version. Four years later, Helikon opened its current headquarters in Miekinia near Wroclaw. In 2009, another famous brand model saw the light of day - UTP (Urban Tactical Pants). The modern, innovative approach to cut and material issues has earned the model a large following. The Polish manufacturer's motto is "Journey to perfection", which perfectly reflects the recent years of Helikon's development. The company never stops releasing better and better products, uses new, innovative materials, and boldly enters new market sectors.

However, Helikon-Tex is not only about producing high-quality products but also about a wide range of activities of various types. The Polish brand regularly supports uniformed services (e.g., during the coronavirus pandemic), engages in promoting shooting sports (since 2016, there has even been a Helikon-Tex Shooting Team), participates in numerous military and tactical industry trade fairs (including the largest European trade fairs IWA, or American Shot Show organized in Las Vegas), promotes the Leave no trace philosophy. The company is not limited to Poland or even Europe, and its products are also storming the market in the USA. Helikon's successes translate into further warehouse expansions, creating new offices, and opening new branches.

Helikon-Tex bases its offer on several main product lines, each of which has its ambassador - a specialist in a given field, as well as an appropriate number of testers and designers who, thanks to their knowledge and experience, are able to prepare products perfectly suited to the needs. The company's offer includes:

    • Helikon Urban Line – these are clothes and tactical equipment created for everyday use in the city. The idea of the line is to produce products that allow comfortable carrying of all EDC (every day carry) elements while maintaining a low-profile character, not flaunting military style, while maintaining high functionality. The ambassador of the line is Maciej Stebel - a deputy Sheriff from Nevada (running a YouTube channel SzeryfUSA talking about the realities of service in the United States).

    • Helikon Range Line – an offer of specialized equipment intended for shooting sports. These are both equipment elements such as holsters or magazine pouches, but also gun cases and covers, as well as specially designed products, such as backpacks and shooting bags for carrying weapons and ammunition, etc. The ambassador and designer of the Range line is Marcin Jędrzejczak - an experienced shooting instructor and firearm combat expert.

    • Helikon Patrol Line – modern combat uniforms and equipment primarily intended for specialists such as uniformed services employees, soldiers, but also for military enthusiasts. This product line offers a wide range of classic and contemporary camouflage patterns, both for clothing and equipment elements (backpacks, etc.). The ambassador of the Patrol line is Naval - a former JW GROM operator, author of popular books describing his experiences.

    • Helikon Medical Line – a series of products intended to save health and human life. Helikon-tex strongly promotes carrying first aid kits, in the field and everyday, as well as developing first aid skills.

    • Helikon Outback Line – an offer of equipment for tourism, for less and more experienced travelers. In addition to clothes designed for the outdoors, you will also find expedition backpacks and accessories such as gaiters, hats, organizers, etc. The ambassador of the line is Łukasz Tulej, a known traveler and survival popularizer.

    • Helikon Bushcraft Line – one of the most dynamically operating product lines of Helikon. You can find numerous products designed especially for bushcraft, characterized by high comfort of use, but also above-average durability and durability. The ambassador and designer of the Bushcraft line is Paweł "Super" Supernat, creator of the Survivaltech school, conducting numerous training sessions and workshops, and organizing numerous survival projects.

    • Helikon Morale Line – an offer of various patch and morale patch patterns, a way to ensure an individual character of your equipment, clothing, etc. Helikon constantly introduces new, original, and aesthetic patches, so that everyone can find something to their liking. The ambassador of the line is Michał "Trollsky" Sielicki - the most famous Polish knife maker, running a YouTube channel, a participant in the American program "Forged in Fire".

    • Helikon Surplus Line – where you can find numerous copies of original uniform designs, in various, old and modern camouflages.

The offer of the Helikon-Tex is extremely wide, and you can essentially find everything you might need for any outdoor activity. Throughout the years of operating in the market, many products in Helikon's range have achieved a cult status, such as the aforementioned SFU or UTP models, outstanding LVL 7 winter jackets, fleece jackets (e.g., Patriot or Liberty), and the classic Defender shirts. Also, new products quickly gain popularity, and Helikon swiftly hits market niches by providing equipment in line with current customer needs.
