The durable ABS plastic base features precisely molded holes that set the sharpening angles at 30° (15° per side) and 40° (20° per side) for knives, and 12.5° for sharpening scissors. You simply hold the blade vertically and draw it down each stone – the entire process is straightforward and fast.
The set includes two types of High Alumina Ceramic rods: medium (brown) for aggressive sharpening and fine (white) for professional finishing. Additionally, the kit comes with brass safety rods to protect your hands during sharpening and a detailed instructional DVD.
