Additionally, the integrated meat carrying system allows the main compartment to separate from the frame, making it significantly easier to pack and transport game harvested in the field.
From the outset, the Team Elk model was designed with backcountry elk hunters in mind. Eberlestock also created this pack to support the efforts of the most proactive conservation organization in the world, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF). As part of this commitment, 10% of proceeds from each Team Elk pack sale are donated directly to RMEF, resulting in lifetime contributions exceeding $600,000 over the last decade.
The pack offers a range of functional features. It is equipped with a floating lid, which enhances load compression and provides additional storage for smaller items. On the exterior, there are two large side pockets suitable for spotting scopes or larger accessories, and a front elastic pocket for quick-access essentials. Inside, the pack includes stretch-material compartments and a hydration sleeve with hose ports on both sides. Combined, the main compartment provides approximately 35 liters of capacity, which can be increased by an additional 6.5 liters using the floating lid.
To maximize comfort during long and demanding hunts, the Team Elk Rifle Pack features a new tri-glide waist belt adjustment system, allowing for easy tightening from the front. Like most Eberlestock models, the shoulder harness and hip belt are adjustable, ensuring a perfect fit for any user.
