Eberlestock FAC Track 3-Day Pack is designed with radio operators in mind, providing quick and convenient access to communication equipment. Its name derives from the American Forward Air Controllers (FAC)—soldiers responsible for directing aerial support on the battlefield. The FAC Track incorporates features that make it easier to carry large radio units (e.g., the 117 Gulf) and all related accessories.

One of the backpack’s key features is the dual-direction zipper at the top, which creates a dedicated port for antennas. This allows them to be routed above the backpack without opening the main compartment. The top flap also includes openings for cables and push-to-talk, so the radio can be used directly from inside the backpack, giving the operator full control over the device.

Inside, on the back panel, there is a full MOLLE panel construction, enabling you to attach any radio pouch and adapt it to the size of your equipment. In addition, the top-load zipper provides quick access from above, allowing you to check the radio status or change frequencies without fully removing the backpack. On either side of the FAC Track are long, narrow pockets—ideal for storing spare antennas or other slender items. Altogether, the backpack features two internal and two external pockets, providing ample space for batteries, additional radio modules, and other accessories.

The Eberlestock FAC Track also comes with a durable and comfortable hip belt, along with an ergonomic harness system featuring adjustable shoulder straps—ensuring that it can be comfortably worn for extended periods, even under heavier loads. The top flap opens “outward,” meaning the radio’s display and controls face directly toward the user—significantly simplifying device operation in challenging conditions.
